HR as the fifth wheel of marketing
HR fifth wheel marketing. Do not agree? Let’s deal with this. The situation arose a paradoxical situation. The number of people engaged in the search for personnel is growing, but until recently, the general welfare has increased only due to favorable conditions on the oil market, which Belarus exported in excess of refined products. It would seem that this growth should have been achieved precisely through the proper selection of staff, because during the time of the existence of recruitment agencies, they had to make sure that any position had the most suitable person.
It is also not clear why Belarus was among the countries that suffered from the global financial and economic crisis. After all, a whole army of recruiting specialists should be able to ensure that the right places in all companies are exactly the people who are able to cope with any situation, even with the global financial and economic crisis.
The negative balance of foreign trade is growing at a frantic pace, and this is also surprising, I even had to go to the world with the IMF and take billions of dollars from them to cope with the situation. This all should not have happened, because thanks to the work of specialists, managers and recruitment directors in all the company would have to work the best specialists for whom the crisis is their element. Exports, instead of decreasing, had to increase in the opposite way in a substantial way.
In recent years, except for the crisis of 2009, wage growth has been marked. Perhaps this can also be written into an asset of HR managers who, through the selection of the most qualified personnel, ensured an increase in labor productivity and thereby a rise in wages. At the same time, it turns out that the state, if you take a good look, unreasonably appropriated the merits for this growth, because it actually did not implement any measures for the growth of wages.
With such successes of recruiters, they probably should be given the opportunity to do other areas. For example, give them the sport. Then you see, Belarusian hockey players and football players will become world champions, and at the next Olympiad Belarus will take first place in the team ranking. The recruits of the personnel recruiters, they say, are simply enormous.
They improve everything they touch. Thanks to him, Belarus has long been receiving energy at prices lower than world prices. They applied their golden hands to the arrangement of our cities, for example, Minsk. With their help, a new national library was built, new sports facilities, a new ring road was built around Minsk, and other roads were also built thanks to these “bees.”
What can I say, even the success in agriculture and those associated with the recruitment specialists. Flattery is certainly not a good deal, but it is simply not possible to be flattered by recruiters, these God’s deputies on earth. They are omnipresent and omnipotent, they can do anything. They can give a brilliant career, and can bring to the need for homework. They and only they decide everything. This is an axiom. They should be feared and respected, because everything depends on them!
The text above was a kind of adequacy test. If someone believes in all that is written above – it is time for such a person to turn to a psychiatrist. Any adequate and mentally healthy person should have understood that everything is higher – no more than humor. There is a suspicion that among those who did not understand the joke, the lion’s share was made up of either the current or potential recruiting specialists.
This is because the representatives of the recruitment agencies consider their work so important, so necessary that it can reach the point that they will begin to declare that the sun rises in the morning only because of their work. Rain in a drought comes again only because of their work. In reality, representatives of recruitment agencies, and indeed almost all those involved in personnel, are a pitiful sight.
As a rule, people who really cannot do anything, who really cannot create any valuable product go into this sphere. This is very obvious after 5 minutes of communication with them, because the motive that led them to this path lies on the surface. You can understand the motive, if you realize that recruiters are divided into 2 categories: “zero” and “vain.”
The category of “zero” can be attributed to all those who do not represent anything at all and can only do paperwork. The category of “vanity” includes myself all those who, in principle, are also “zero”, but with ambitions. From here, motives are visible, both for the first and for the second. “Zero” come to such work because they do not want to work, and also because they are not taken anywhere else.
“Vanity” come to such work in order to satisfy their ambitions and vanity at the expense of others, as can be seen from the style of communication they choose during interviews.
